The Story
An editorial chapter in the Wedding Season 2026 archive.
Inspiration
Drawn from the palace courtyards of Udaipur and the candlelit havelis of old Jaipur — a meditation on ceremony, lineage and the slow ritual of dressing.
Craftsmanship
Hand-applied zardozi, mukaish dotting and aari work executed by master karigars over 180–220 hours per piece.
Fabric
Pure raw silks, mulberry tissue, fine net grounds and antique-finish silk brocades milled in Varanasi.
Mood
Candle gold, deep ruby, midnight ink, and the soft blush of a Jaipur dawn.
